I know we changed the definition of court packing in the past two weeks, but from 1937 to September 2020, the universally accepted definition of court packing was what the Democrat ticket is tacitly entertaining. It was always about the Supreme Court. AA said it much better than me. I know you have disdain for this point of view as well and that's fine.

I'll hang onto my opinion just as long as that's ok with you. Is filibustering the other party's federal judge appointments for two years really less alarming to you than what is being intimated that probably won't happen? Nothing to say about Trump appointing unqualified judge after judge for the last 3 years... attorneys who have never taken a case to trial are now up for lifetime federal judgeships? It's funny how many people think that judicial shenanigans only began in 2015 and filibuster changes in 2017. I want to say this is just historical illiteracy but it's most likely willful ignorance. I can't wait until this election is over and Trump is out of office so people have an excuse to be reasonable again.

Trump thrives on drama and emotional reaction. 99% of the human population doesn't have the stamina to keep that up. There will still be bullshit as there always has, but I look forward to a good chunk of this country who don't really care about politics to return not caring.

This is something that someone who supports Trump does that secretly has political aspirations.

That way he gets re-elected you aren’t kicked out of the tribe and if he loses in 5 years at a debate you can clutch your pearls and say I wrote in Mitt.
