        • This may have one-upped Four Seasons Total Landscaping. I'm not sure what is motivating Trump to keep Rudy doing these press conferences, but I'm all for them!

          • I could have sworn Guiliani was once a near universally respected public figure. That must be a made-up memory.

            • I'm not surprised. Have you ever watched a parent or grandparent slowly decline cognitively and become this raging conspiracy crazed grump? I saw it happen to a couple of great uncles. The thing is, the qualities that made Guiliani a success as a prosecutor and a mayor are the same qualities that have led him to this mess. The problem is he has cachet from his previous success that gives him the opportunity to be this public lunatic where everyone else is just relegated to a nursing home.

I haven't heard a peep out of GOP leadership about these embarrassing shenanigans. But yeah, sure- let's have them remain in control of the Senate. :|

                      • Back in the 90’s late night TV was filled with ads featuring Ron Popeil and whatever hot new product he decided to flog (e.g., Showtime BBQ “Set it and forget it”, Ronco knives that could cut open cans and shoes, etc.). My favorite product was GLH (great looking hair), a can of paint that balding people could spray on their heads to create the appearance of more hair.

It was ridiculous, and I wondered who, if anyone, was stupid enough to buy that crap. Finally, decades later, I got my answer today from the absurdly comical press conference:

                        • Remember when conservatives used to be against frivolous lawsuits? Good times.

And oh by the way, how batshit crazy do you have to be to have Carlson Tucker throw you under the bus like this? That might have been the nuttiest presser in US history.

A while back John Oliver had a segment on Guiliani and how he went from being "America's Mayor" to being...well...what he is today. A bit crass for the faint of heart, but very funny. Also, it may be longer than one might like, but worth it IMO.

Yeah that's how I see Guiliani. He's kind of a despicable person who was a competent leader in a national crisis. But when it was over, he reverted back to being kind of despicable.

And, he was going grey in the video! Why the hair dye now Rudy?!?
