It means you can't refile the suit. If they had say... missed a filing deadline or something the court might dismiss without prejudice. Something like that would still be a huge PITA but all wouldn't be lost. Here, the judge has made a determination about the suit as a whole and is throwing that shit out. Normally refiling would be the preferred next step because they could actually, you know, file a meritorious suit with good evidence (assuming they had any). Now their only option is to appeal, where they are limited in scope to the submissions and scope of the original suit, which was a half-assed shit show, to put it nicely.
