I can think of a couple of other constitutional relics that were abolished by amendments

Biden jumps ahead in VA when Fairfax county dumps a chunks of votes in.

Alright, who do I have to bang to make sure Biden wins? I already prostituted myself for a Ben McAdams win, why stop there.

But the popular vote compact will effectively abolish it. I think the EC and federalism in general is still important. To the point that I am even on the fence whether direct election of senators is a net positive. I think part of the reason why a president Trump can be such a problem is because the president has more power than was ever intended and congress answers more to their party than their state.

This is true but what is the solution?

If Trump wins everywhere he is leading right now, Arizona will be the only state to flip from 2016 and Trump will win.

Well, I mean... not to rain on your rain on the parade, but Wisconsin still needs to count all of its record-breaking 2 million mail-in votes, and Michigan needs to count its 3 million mail-in votes. Pennsylvania same thing.
