All this talk of quakes and biblical signs of the times reminded me of a gospel doctrine lesson i attended about 20 years ago. As the teacher was talking about the signs he came to the verse in Matthew 24 that said there would be earthquakes in divers places. There he paused and he said with a straight face that the verse means that there will be earthquakes in the oceans which will undoubtedly cause tsunamis. I started laughing thinking he was making a joke...he was not, which made me laugh even harder.

              What is PAC's daughter saying?
              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Ha! She hasn't texted about it so it falls in the "no biggie" range. Aftershocks are usually ho hum.

Boise just had a (relatively for us) big one. 6.5 about 80 miles NE of town.

I have no frame of reference because the last detectable one I was in was probably over 30 years ago. My kids were scared (especially my youngest). I thought somebody was pounding on my office door because it was rattling so loud in its frame.

If it weren't for the Coronavirus, I could have heard around five different 65-70 year old women in my ward comment in Sunday School that all these earthquakes are a sign of the second coming.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Any chance these earthquakes are related? Boise, SLC, and El Paso, all in a short timeframe.
