Let's talk about who has the patent to this vaccine and who has the patent to Remdezivir--Fauci and Gates. That's why Fauci is leading the charge to demonize Hydroxychloroquin so that they can replace it with Remdezivir. Who sent our government funds to the Wuhan, China laboratory to experiment with the Corona viruses--Fauci. Who sits on the board of directors to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation--Fauci. This relationship stinks to high heaven!!!

Nate Silver tweets out a good daily report. Mortality continues to trend downward, but cases are headed the other way. Increased cases cannot be explained away solely by increased testing as the positive test rate is on the rise as well.

If this follows past patterns, mortality is likely to turn back upwards in a few weeks. That could be mitigated by the age of these new cases, which appears to be 35 and under according to a report I saw. But eventually those cases spread it to more vulnerable parts of the population.

I'm not sure I get it. Dude basically says that he knows it's real - but that he doesn't know the facts. Because both sides play it differently.

I'm not sure he's wrong. COVID is obviously real. But then you've got a full continuum of people - with some on one end thinking things should be locked down again due to increasing positive tests and another side saying there should be no restrictions at all and people should decide for themselves. We've heard both that you can't get it from someone who is asymptomatic, and then that you can. Or maybe it's just rare. We've heard that it's really hard to get from touching surfaces, but we're still doing no-contact drop offs. Early on masks don't help, so don't buy them, now everyone should wear one in public.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that COVID is real, but that there are mixed and inconsistent "facts" getting passed around and interpreted. I don't think that guy comes across as the brightest bulb in the closet, but he's not wrong as far as different camps interpreting and presenting data differently and it can be a challenge to know what's real and what isn't.

I totally agree. There are facts and then there is the interpretation of facts.

For example, Is 500 new patients a day a lot for Utah or not? It kind of seems like a lot to me and there are definitely more and more patients with this in the hospitals.

On the other hand if we keep going at 500 per day average it would take 16 years to infect all 3 million Utahns. Are we all supposed to “be careful” for the next 16 years?
