Obama voter here. Don't particularly like Powell.

He did attack Bush & Cheney. He just waited until it was popular to do so. that's weak.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I forgive him for his part in starting the Iraq War -- we now know that he was bullied into it by Rumsfeld and Cheney. Powell is a true American statesman and leader.
I thought the same thing until I heard his interview with Larry King where he admitted that one of the primary reasons he voted for Obama was because of his race.

Since you were an Obama voter, what grade would you give him so far?

I voted for Obama, btw... I didn't know we were supposed to note who we voted for.

                    I'll start with a disclaminer - I didn't vote for him.

That said, I think i would give him a B-, In actuality it should be in incomplete

I may be small, but I'm slow.

I'm about a C+ on Obama. I see the president as primarily a figurehead not a policymaker and he's done a decent job of this. I'd say he's trying to do way too much at once and that he's misguided on healthcare, but I'll give him points for not micromanaging.

I wrote in a candidate for pres.

I don't pay that much attention, so I missed any statements where Powell attacked Bush and Cheney. I am hoping he writes a sequel to his autobiography covering his years at State. I really enjoyed his book, thought it was one of the best in the 1990s on military history and military affairs.

I have read Bob Woodward's Plan of Attack. From that I don't think Powell was bullied into anything. We went the UN route because of Powell. When Bush later told him that he had all but decided on war and asked for Powell's support, the secretary gave it while still hoping to accomplish something diplomatically at the last minute. Then the French cut him off at the knees.

You mean the unconstitutionally* appointed czars?

                            * - my understanding all czars are unconstitutional, no matter which president appoints them.

True. I guess being involved in politics will ultimately result in becoming a politician.

I know, that sentence was full of insight.
