This could not more perfectly illustrate the point I was making i.e. that white-supremacists committing violence for reasons driven by white-supremacy is actually a thing, hence this thread to discuss it.

Having threads about specific social concerns, that I feel go underaddressed is not segregating.

For one, it's a helpful way to order conversations.

If someone wants to discuss concerns with Mormons, and someone has other specific concerns with Islamic extremism, it doesn't need to be kept in one thread about religiosity.

We don't have to worry about that happening for a few reasons....

1. There are enough people on here that would defend it.

2. There are enough people on here that would point out that it is response to right wing extremism and we should understand. (i.e. the burning down and looting of everything after the George Floyd situation).

And it goes to what JL is alluding to....if this thread was about anything other that "white", it would be shut down. I'm not into self-abuse (either way you sickos).

Actually, I should retract that statement. I can't think of anyone here who is genuinely racist and/or dumb enough to create an overtly racist thread title. I am not worried.

Back to the original point, there is nothing wrong with having a thread on violence by white supremacists. That is a real cultural issue. Having that discussion is not discriminatory against white people. Now if there is a claim made that white people are bad simply by virtue of being white, that would be a dumb and racist things to say. Ditto for any other ethnic group.

Just to add more reasoning for why I think my post is relevant here. The initial creation and statement was "Right-wing violence is on the rise".. Soo.. Why not just call it what it is. "Right-wing Violence is on the rise" as the thread title. Rather than equating White Supremacy and GOP are one in the same, but I believe that was the objective and straight from a Soros-led guidebook.. It is rather inflammatory and a shaming-method the left uses in public to sway voters and silence those who have conservative values but are equally horrified by racism..

My post and article is a counter argument to that statement and the overall notion they are.

I think you are reading way too much into this. White Supremacy is an issue and the profile is on the rise IMO. It has also been tied to violence in the U.S. So it's something we shouldn't be concerned about discussing and noting.

No one here believes White Supremacy and GOP are one in the same. Admittedly, lately we've seen a lot of statements and commentary by GOP and MAGA operatives showing sympathy or even support for some white supremacy thinking. It's good that it exposed and those elements be excised from the GOP. The same goes for antisemitism on the left. Expose it and root it out.

I don't understand how someone can be shamed by others exposing and discussing horrible thinking and behavior.

There have been many articles linking both together and some from reputable news organizations like The Atlantic, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC and other various news organizations..

And if you can't understand the guilt by association and the feeling a person has being indirectly-connected to such a deplorable group, I cannot help you.. The reality is.. Common sense individuals will remain silent over such things out of fear of being labeled as such. Cancel culture, Woke and various other groups have had that impact. Hell, in my workplace, I hear some of the most absurd bullshit things and I no longer engage out of fear of the opinion these poeple have of me. These are good people too. Soft-hearted people but you show any ounce in some areas. They turn dark..
