When you're such an accomplished shitposter, details like things you wrote 2 posts ago are mere annoyances to be glossed over as you move on to the next flurry of memes and snarky GOP apologetics.Originally posted by falafel View Post

I know this isn’t AOC but Tlaib is part of the squad so I’m putting it here. Jamie Dimon’s answer is perfect

It shouldn't, but the stupidity of people continues to amaze me.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I heard Sam Harris say recently that even though he's a liberal, he spends a lot more time criticizing the left, which has become as abhorrent as the right, but has occupied institutions he cares about like the New York Times and the arts. The right, though also abhorrent, seems less of s threat. Alex Jones isn't an elected official or writing columns in the New York Times, but Rashida Tlaib and her ilk are.

She's also in a conflict of interest, because she's sympathetic to oil rich countries who don't want the US energy independent or a competitor.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

The Squad/Bernie have been marginalized almost to zero credibility/influence. Your worry is misplaced. The democratic party is still a center left party.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

After Ron Johnson wins and Oz comes shockingly close to victory in PA, the Bernie/Squad faction will be completely destroyed nationally. The progressive left has been beaten back in MA and NY. SAn Francisco fired their far left leadership. Rick Caruso has a real chance to become the next mayor of Los Angeles.
The far left had its moment in 2016 which demonstrated the need to talk to disaffected voters. Trump filled that space unfortunately.

I don't think she is sophisticated enough to even recognize this conflict.
Please explain how her criticisms of Saudi Arabia demonstrate her conflicts of interest to oil rich countries.
Or are we just leveling criticisms simply based on race at this point?

This seems like a pretty hollow argument considering that Donald Trump was President of the US.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI heard Sam Harris say recently that even though he's a liberal, he spends a lot more time criticizing the left, which has become as abhorrent as the right, but has occupied institutions he cares about like the New York Times and the arts. FTR, I'm very concerned with both sides.

I agree with this. Their influence is much more muted than it was years ago. That doesn’t make them any less crazy. It also helps that the GOP has even more crazy people in it that now get more airtime than the squad used to get.Originally posted by fusnik View Post
