Only until you claim your ridiculous statement was TIC based on an alleged whataboutism that I will make 5 days from now.
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

I won't post this on cougarboard, but this site is mature enough to handle it without crashing. Basically it's saying Trump's unhinged nature in responding to things he doesn't like (like an impeachment inquiry) is eventually going to do him in.

As the/a resident CB type, I will say that I find nothing surprising or objectionable in this article. In fact, I agree with it.
That's funny.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said this week that the whistleblower at the center of the impeachment inquiry against President Trump should "come forward," given the fallout from their complaint.

Yes! By all means, let’s find a way to get Trump off on a technicality.

Its pretty standard that whistleblowers needs to raise their concerns in-house first before going outside. But none of this is really important to the impeachment issue. The lack of whistleblower protection just means that the whistleblower can't sue if he is fired for blowing the whistle. It doesn't mean that the exposed conduct is suddenly okay.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

No one is suggesting that. You are conflating issues. The allegedly impeachable conduct was demanding a quid pro quo from Ukraine by asking for assistance in investigating Biden in exchange for not holding up military aid. A second issue is whether the whistleblower or Schiff or the Senate intel committee manipulated the process in bringing this to the nation's attention. If it turns out the whistleblower is not entitled to anonymity under the pertinent statutes (ignoring for now the implicit suggestion by Rand that because the purpose for anonymity is gone so should the anonymity itself go away) then his/her identity should be made public, especially if this is political grandstanding. If the whistleblower loses anonymity it will have no legal impact in determining whether Trump committed an impeachable offense.
Trump acted very poorly. But Schiff is as big of a clown and has been almost as bad. A pox on both their houses.
