Memes are just a modern form of analogy. Analogy is ageless. A good analogy extends well beyond the surface. They have a vast potential for social signalling.

I know what memes are. Cover yourself in slogans if you wish. Bumper stickers are good conversation starters too!

Frank, I don’t understand your avatar. It was the Dems not the GOP arguing last night about which communist leaders had the best qualities.

I wouldn't buy it to wear it. Just to reward the author/creator because I found it clever, amusing, effective, and on point. I enjoy good wordplay.

Is wokeness religion? What is religion or a religious person? What is the etymology of the word religion? Zealotry, religions potential excesses. What is ritual and how it's tied to religion. Apes versus human, what is copying versus mimicry versus ritual versus imitation. How do such things relate to culture. Contending with death as a human. Death rituals in culture. How much of our life/death is scripted cultural rituals? Why do they need to exist? Wisdom institutions. How enlightenment/science frame may be insufficient. The unquestionable religious stories. Should religions question. Lots of other stuff.

The irony is that the conspiracy fantasies that frank endlessly promoted (Russiagate & its impeachment sequel) failed so spectacularly that they became gifts to President Trump & the GOP.

But as you note, those same conspiracy theories are being re-weaponized to use against Dem candidates that the DNC does not care for, e.g. Bernard and Tulsi.

Bernie Sanders is actually a Communist.

The irony is that it was no fantasy, and the genuine conspiracy theory of Barr and the justice department and McConnell covering the shit up is obvious.

Now Trump is seeking to let all his cronies off the hook without a peep of protest.

Also, Tulsi is pretty friendly with Moscow, a favorite of RT and lines up with Russian foreign interests. BTW, she loves drone strikes. If Bernie I hope to hell he doesn’t choose her.

Only because socialism is the stepping stone to communism.

So, the United States is just one step away from communism?
