I'm not going to judge how the officer reacted to the situation and whether he thought his life was in peril. But I'm going to judge the administration for putting them in the situation, for giving them months long rhetorical cover for hasty actions, and for their apparent comfort in aggressive confrontation.
I'm kind of sick of looking at videos of this and the commentary from both partisan sides. This is an awful incident. And regardless if information comes out from body can footage that shed a more light on the actions of the officer who fired his weapon, it is just a bad look and will be immensely damaging to this administration.Comment

Tim Walz is now stating he is preparing the National Guard and has never been at war with the federal government.
Can any adult please stand up. Maybe Walz should sit this one out as he is supposed to be focused on the fraud that has plagued his state. But I guess he found an answer to his prayer to shine the light elsewhere.
