You should see the basket of shit bags waiting in the wings to run in the GOP primary.Originally posted by BlueK View PostBecause of the things Flake talked about, if the GOP doesn't correct itself and keeps following trump into the sewer, I hope it gets trashed by the dems in 2018.

I'd like to hear more about that. I'd be surprised if that's completely accurate. No way does US have troops in Eritrea, Zimbabwe (to name just a couple), at least with their permission. Those countries are pretty adversarial with us.Originally posted by Walter Sobchak View PostBetter take. Why the fuck does the US have 800 soldiers in Niger and 6,000 troops in 53 nations in Africa? (There are 54 nations in Africa, FYI.)

It was a great speech, but let's be honest, he was a dead man walking. It wasn't Trump that caused hsi popularity to tank, although his opposition to Trump sure didn't help. We all lose when good, moderate conservatives are left out because they are not polarizing enough.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostGod bless Flake. Fantastic speech.

And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

then his next job will be to work on cramming that wedge in between members of the church and new "Republican" party being created by Steve Bannon.Originally posted by Shaka View PostI had the same thought. I enjoyed the speech but wondered if this was part of his tryout to make G.A.
