The only power you have is if a chunk of conservatives as a block vote democrat and the party suffers major losses for 1 to 2 cycles. Losing in the short term is the only way you wrangle control back from the loons.

We need two strong political parties. The GOP is one election cycle from becoming full MAGA, that should scare all of us.
I've heard similar "only option" scenarios from MAGA types.

We need to do whatever it takes to stop the democrats who are evil and corrupt!

When faced with the insurgent wing aka the nutso faction of the Democratic Party, the voters bitch slapped Bernie and told Elizabeth Warren and the squad to STFU.

When the GOP was faced with the MAGA insurgency, they rolled over and begged Trump to pet their bellies and be nice to them.

Not even close to the same.

And Hunter Biden is corrupt as hell. Did Joe directly benefit from his corruption? Maybe not, but he certainly stood by and allowed it to happen.

He is a million times less corrupt that Trump, but let's not kid ourselves here.
Wait, hold up, you are telling me when a family member gets any sort of power, whether political or business they do business with other family members?

        No way!

Biden is not corrupt enough to be described as high crimes and misdemeanors.
The problem, as I see it, with the term "corrupt" is that it seems to be a binary. You are either corrupt, or you are not. The public does not care about the matter of degree. It's not a useful term.

Haha. That has to be the weakest whatabout response I have ever seen.

              • I highly doubt Joe Biden is actively complicit in Hunters business dealings but I’d wager he’s also not smart enough to know when he’s ignorantly helping Hunter make money. Joe isn’t exactly at Mitts level of business chops.

Ill still vote for Joe over Trump because I’d prefer a stupid politician that buys votes and spends like a drunken sailor over a stupid politician that tries to over throw the government and spends like a drunken sailor.

Whatever, you voted GOP once in the last 32 years so you're 100% MAGA and a piece of human trash.

Hunter already admitted to avoiding taxes, which is a felony and deserves jail time.

Avoiding taxes is perfectly legal. Evading taxes, on the other hand, not so much.

Electronic voiding? Is that a banking thing, or a cyber method of evacuating bodily fluids?

Not sure of the legality of either practice. Let your conscience guide.

I have heard from federal prosecutors that those back taxes, while they were ‘avoided,’ were paid back in 2021-2018 and while it is a crime, prosecutorial discretion kicks in on cases like this where restitution is made before charges are filed. So he’ll go to jail to make Trump happy?

His true crime was being too dumb to get away with it.
