Trump is good at one thing - self-promoting and self-mythologizing. That's it. People here still buy into the trope that he's a business mastermind.
I actually think he gets the most admiration among some folks here for his ability to "troll" the other side. To some people it's a hugely important trait for presidents to have apparently.

Haha, so say the two guys on this forum that are the most obsessed with Trump and everything he does.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Sorry, but Trump just sucks. Obsessed? Nah, I have a lot of other things going on that are far more important, but other than BYU basketball I don't post about those here. In fact, I rarely talk with others about politics at all outside this site.

I'm not sure you could talk politics (or Trump) much more than you already do on this site.

It’s a good thing you can complain about us, because that’s about all you contribute to the politics section these days.

I would contribute more, but I'm afraid of being doxed.

                  what's doxed?

By the way, this article about the Roman empire and parallels to our time I found very interesting.

And he'll do anything to get his wall with his name on it, which is an engineering project like the Hoover Dam. You'll never see a more dejected Donald Trump than one who leaves office without it getting built. That's why he's willing to pull funds from science, cancer treatments for kids, and the military just to get it started.

Wearing a MAGA hat or any other conservative paraphernalia does not make me a white supremacist, anti-Semite, bigot or any other stereotype that may be misapplied. The purpose of wearing a MAGA hat is to identify as a supporter of Donald Trump and as a believer in conservative values.
I agree that wearing a MAGA hat does not make you a white supremacist, anti-Semite, or a bigot. However, being a Donald Trump supporter means that you have chosen to support a white supremacist, anti-Semite, and a bigot.

I just don't understand how this poor man survives in this world as an oppressed white male.

Based on his picture, his conservative beliefs, and his law school, I think this post could also go in the MOTCOTJCOLDS in the News thread.

Lol. This guy is an idiot.

Look, I was a conservative law student. I spoke against the opinions that substantially increased union bargaining power, and in favor of the right to contract. I was an officer in the Federalist Society, and I attended the Ron Paul campaign rally on campus. I was fully aware that my views were at political odds with most of my professors. But you know what I didn't have? The blind allegiance to an demented idiot whose every utterance displays that his views are nowhere near in line with conservatism.

I wasn't going to be the one to point that out, but I put the odds at greater than 50 percent he was a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints based on those factors.

Also, the name Austin Phelps is a very Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints name.
