I'm sure pretty much all Trump supporters "consider themselves to be a moral person."

Trump is such an idiot. I mean why insult NFL, NBA players? So dumb.

A lot of his supporters agree with him?

I love how Trump keeps doubling down on this stupid anthem-kneeling issue. What a dummy.

What is that old saying? "Never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity." Something like that.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Is it possible to talk like a white supremacist without being one? His lashing out at some NFL players at another of his silly rallies in Alabama by calling them sons of bitches is exactly the way a hard core white supremacist would say it. But even if you want to give Trump the extreme benefit of the doubt here, what is really to be gained for the country by having the president be so freaking divisive?

Simple. He is pandering to his base. He doesn't give two shits about uniting the country.

That's fair. The whole he could shoot someone on 5th avenue scenario looks more and more appropriate

I thought this was the sort of thing Republicans in congress are concerned about.

Kushner used private email to conduct White House business

Funny thing-- I just saw somebody post something like this on Facebook and couldn't believe none of the people commenting were not too dense to see the difference between what he did and what Hillary did.

What's lost in this silliness is the indisputable fact that Kushner isn't even remotely qualified to occupy a position as a top adviser to the president of the United States. It's beyond all words how hopelessly corrupt and inept this "administration" if you can even call it that, is. Let's run the presidency like a mom and pop shop. Let's go start a nuclear war with N. Korea through twitter!

He didn't have to hold that rally or make that white supremacist-like comment to hold onto his cult following. His approval numbers were in the toilet for almost his entire presidency while he's only pandered to his base. It wasn't until he broke ranks and made a deal with Chuck, Nancy, and more centrist Republicans a couple of weeks ago to keep the government open that his approval numbers improved a little. Granted, we all know that was not about doing something productive. It was nothing more than a childish jab at McConnell and Ryan.
