"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Hey, I am happy to see Hillary ride off into the sunset. But neither party has any kind of monopoly on virtue here. Don't kid yourself.
"Various charitable causes around the globe"? That's great, but I am not sure what your point is. You asked why the Clinton's collection of payments for favors was any different and a cause for concern as opposed to regular campaign contributions. The difference in amounts one is able to contribute and thus the clout the "contributions" are able to buy is not automatically combated because of how the funds can be used. You admit that both buy influence, it's just that one form can buy a whole lot more influence.

As to your quip about kidding myself about either party having a monopoly on virtue, I don't recall ever representing that I believed anything of the sort. For being one who is so adamant about red herrings and straw men, you seem to be really good at deploying their uses.

I get back and in one day I am constantly reminded we have a President elect acting like a jackass and a revered hero of the Civil Rights movement making a jackass of himself.

I have stopped laughing at all this crap, but I will bet the Russians won't be able to stop laughing.

Kinda reminds me of three of my friends. There is a real controversy between two of them. When things get boring, the third friend brings it up to watch them go at it.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Haha. You have a knack for turning everything into some kind of pissing contest.

You go ahead and knock yourself out on this campaign of yours to educate us about how evil HRC is. Super interesting.

You know, if that means everyone who is on life support and has less than a 50% chance of recovery gets the plug pulled, I am for it. Also as you reach a certain age certain procedures will not be allowed to be done and paid for by insurance. That goes for everyone, straight, gay, bi, black, white green or yellow. Everyone. After a certain age you have to pay for it yourself if you want it.

If those are the rules, I think I could be persuaded to go for Universal Health Care.

I see....I asked you to share your thoughts and then you lecture me about not kidding myself (about something that I never even implied that I believed) and then misconstrued my argument into something I never said and when I respond in kind and now I am the one turning a discussion into a pissing contest? That's crazy, bro.

Sorry, dude.....I didn't realize that not agreeing with you = starting a pissing contest (of which you would unquestionably win, your lordship). I will be more aware of this in the future when you employ future straw men and red herring arguments and simply agree to things I neither said or intended.

Oh no! Its really too bad that one can't call you out without you resorting to cool guy, I'm with the crowd behavior. I'll step back and let the circle jerk commence.

Okay, only after I point out your appeal to authority logical fallacy. For being a dude who loves to point them out in others, you do it a lot.

Are you certain the dude just made an appeal to authority? It strikes me as more of an argumentum ad populum...

You're right. I didn't know that logical fallacy existed, but that is classic Lebowski.
