I’m shocked Maximus would post a debunked tweet.

The opening for Colbert's show Monday night was very good, including this clip from The Ten Commandments (second half of the video). Fake Charlton Heston's exclamation is awesome.

This is exactly my point. No need to invent things which can be readily refuted ( i.e. "Ivanna was supposed to testify against him when she suddenly died") because when the lies disproven by facts (i.e. Ivanna was not actually scheduled to testify. Rather, Trump, Don Jr. and Ivanka were slated to testify the week after Ivanna died) this then lends credibility to those who would say something like "Yeah, sure Trump raped little girls, just like he killed his wife a week before she was going to testify against him." It's the internet's version of the boy who cried wolf.

Please don't mistake this as a defense of Trump or anything he has done. But we don't need to invent bad acts by Trump. There is plenty already there for which to hold him accountable.
