I'm going to be in the minority and state that I think it's funny. This comes from years ago when Trump body slammed Vince McMahon in a WWE farce. It wasn't real then and it's certainly not intended to be now. Clever of whoever substituted McMahon's face with the CNN logo. CNN of course is the network who in recent days has had to eat some crow regarding their Trump coverage.

Is there anything you think would be undignified for a sitting POTUS to tweet?"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

One of the crazy things about Trump supporters is that no matter how stupid or insane a thing he does, they find a way to spin it. The most common refrain being "I love how he is living rent-free in the heads of liberals." My goodness, what a dumb copout. Virtually anything can be spun as a positive with that response. Zero thinking or logic or rational argument required. The "rent-free" phrase has been hijacked to where it is completely meaningless."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

It might be amusing if Trump were at all self-deprecating (a la Reagan), but everything he does or says is intended to build himself up while belittling his opponents. Being utterly devoid of grace, humility or self-awareness, his attempts at humor are doomed.Originally posted by Shaka View PostI'm going to be in the minority and state that I think it's funny. not a shock that people who exhibit dumbass behavior are in fact dumbasses who try to rationalize their dumbass behavior in dumbass waysOriginally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostOne of the crazy things about Trump supporters is that no matter how stupid or insane a thing he does, they find a way to spin it. BTW, a tip of the cap to Mika B. who, despite being mocked by Trump for a little facial touch-up procedure, didn't counter with the documented reports of Trump's hair transplants and botched scalp reduction surgeries, or his despoliation of the environment with his daily can of aerosol hair spray. There, I said it.

Reagan was the complete package. I know some people don't like his policies, but from the perspective of someone who held the same views on the issues, Reagan was it. He worked with the other side, a la Tip O'Neill, accomplished his agenda, and was classy and likable. A few of the things Trump has actually done as the president have been Reaganesque in ideology, particularly on the economic and regulatory side of things, but the guy comes across so crass and small that even those who like things he's done have a hard time supporting him. I mean speaking of rent-free, the media and CNN in particular, have a penthouse suite (with skylights) in the top floor of his cranium.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostTrump and Reagan. You gotta admit he works really hard. The job of telling us Trump is ok because other past presidents have done stupid things is a thankless job. No one likes to be reminded that our expectations of having a president who isn't a crazy nutjob are too high, but I guess someone has to do it.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHaha. Crazy deserves to be called out by the press when you're the President of the US. When you're a king or dear leader of North Korea then you let those things go.Originally posted by cowboy View PostReagan was the complete package.
