  • Mitt Romney also condemns Kathy Griffith, but then for some reason is blasted by some for waiting too long to speak.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

    • I feel like I'm in bizarro land. Dems are the ones pushing conspiracy theories, worrying about government spending and deficits, and claiming the patriotic high road all while making obscene threats against the POTUS' life. It's like 2009 all over again but in Opposite World.

You have to signal that virtue early on or it doesn't count.

If you go back to 2003, you don't even have to be in Opposite World. Jane's Law is real.

Yep... Same sh*t, the other party. Maybe this is why I keep voting for the Libertarian candidate and hoping that something will change.

Wait what's the false narrative here? I don't remember the final certified total, but I thought Hilary won the popular vote.

In my view a lot of circumstantial evidence has already come out. Reputable news sources keep churning out investigative article after investigative article. I also don't think commands a vast media empire that is prepared make stories up for her. The Russian narrative happened quite awhile before the election even occurred.
Obama's reaching out to the Russians while he is president is miles different than one of Trump's surrogates doing so before he took office, and asking for a "bug proof" line, suggesting that meetings could occur in Russian diplomatic facilities. There have been an inordinate amount of Trump people who had conversations with the Russians they weren't forthcoming about. I'd like to know what the feds have on people like Flynn and Page. Trump antagonizing our allies that being mute about any criticism of Moscow is also suspicious in my book.
LOL... Obama was just "reaching out" to the Russians. That is funny.

If the government wants to keep any creditability with the American people then they need to stop screwing around and release the classified information, if they have they have it (recall even the liberals say they don't have any proof of anything).

And the "reputable" media outlets seem to be reporting hearsay anymore. WaPo claims their "sources" say one thing and other news outlet claims their "sources" say something completely different. Does anyone even check their "sources" anymore?

Winning the popular vote is meaningless. If the POTUS was elected by the popular vote I imagine that a lot of Utahns wouldn't have wasted their vote on that McMuffin CIA dude, for example. Folks game the system according to the rules. If the rules change they will most likely play the game differently. I would still vote for the Libertarian, however.

Those dudes would be the same as well. They are all politicians.

This. The whole Hillary won the popular vote is meaningless. To win the US presidency you design your strategy to win the electoral college. You hammer the swing states and don't waste time and resources on states you have no chance of winning. If the game is winning the popular vote then EVERYTHING CHANGES. Who knows who would win in that type of election? There is no guarantee that Hillary would still win if those are the rules.

That Trump won because of Russian help and that Trump is an illegitimate president. The narrative, for example, has led to this false belief:

It's been a media echo chamber in search of evidence and I have not seen ANY real evidence that Russia helped Trump get elected. Feel free to share anything I may have missed, but I am trying to keep up.

Manafort was a shady dude, but he didn't last long anyway, so anything he may have done is near meaningless to me.

If anything, any Russian meddling in general is about sowing chaos and distrust in American democracy and government. So you could say that effort is working, but that's not on Trump.

I don't think anyone disputes this.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
