People keep talking about the destruction of NATO. Again, chicken-little statements. Presidential leaders across NATO and the U.S. are not going to do that in consideration of why we are aligned. Mutual protection. When looking at defense spending the U.S. core over 60% of all military spending and about 16% of the direct budget. Germany is the only other one at that same level. No county is going to move to remove that level of funding. As for damage of our relations. Every previous President has done things to damage relations but the leaders move that past and adjust to each leader as those change. 3-years is what many of them are thinking. Or they are looking at what ways can we get something beneficial to us out of this.
Either way, NATO will still be intact..Comment
