How much do we really know about MBN anyway? Probably just another government goon!Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Waiting for your unbiased contempt when Biden or Obama had the military dropping bombs with drones in whatever country they wanted.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostTrump calling for death sentences of democratic senators who made a video reminding military that they are not required to follow unlawful orders.
One year in, folks.
Yet, we now have senators publicly encouraging the military to disobey orders? That is a seditious action. Throw away his stupid comment. Their actions are another example of the lefts effort to cause chaos and friction. Their goal is to sow seeds of such behavior that the public will grow weary of this and hopefully put the petulant-child throwing the 4-year temper tantrum back into power.

How in the world did you connect drone strikes to Trump calling for the death penalty. What a terrible whatabout stretch.Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

You do know trump is also doing the done strike thing right?
Why cant you just say oh yes that is terrible. Unless you agree with him.
And you should agree with illegal orders thing to. Unless you think Trump is above the law

Disobey unlawful orders, dabrockster. That's an important distinction. And it's not sedition, which isn't a crime. It's not even close to seditious conspiracy to remind them of their legal obligations, or the punishment they may face for obeying manifestly unlawful orders.Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

The problem you should be having is with the moron-in-chief possibly issuing unlawful orders. But for some reason, you accuse the ones pointing to the military norms as being the agents of chaos.

I could respond the cute way and say 'sedition' isn't a crime anymore (even though it never was) since Trump pardoned Proud Boys leaders of seditious conspiracy. So the democratic leaders are in the clear!
Also, if you want to restrict the discussion to what is legal and illegal, the drone attacks from the previous administration were legal since they were done under the AUMF, which congress overwhelmingly voted for and shamefully haven't rescinded yet. Under what law is Trump ordering extrajudicial killing of suspected drug runners and preparing for war with Venezuela? He claimed it was under the AUMF, but then his administration had to torture a bullshit definition of 'narco-terrorists' to even claim it was legal. Conveniently, Trump has fired military lawyers whom Hegseth famously said are 'roadblocks' to military action. So, no law that he's bound to, and no one to judge whether or not his wishes/actions are legal.
If you want the military to blindly obey a president's orders because that's what militaries do, then remember how remarkably stable Trump's vision of 'his' military has been since before his first term:
And here's the oath they are sworn to uphold.Donald Trump says he would have no problem getting the United States military to execute his orders, even ones that might be illegal under international law.
"If I say do it, they're gonna do it," Trump said. "That's what leadership is all about."
Former CIA and NSA Director Michael Hayden said last Friday that if a President Trump were to order the killing of terrorists' families, as he has said he would do, the military would be obliged to disobey.
Asked what he would do if the military disobeyed, Trump seemed to think that would not be an issue.
"They're not gonna refuse me. Believe me,"
I don't have to state the obviously unconstitutional things Trump wants the military to do, right?I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (So help me God)."
