What have you been happy with? I'm indifferent as to a few things, I suppose, but he has brought me zero happiness. And I agree he's doing what he said he was going to do, and without the guardrails that were in place in his first term he's delivering on his promises/threats better than he did his first term, although that is not a good thing.

Let me say again that lecturing someone that their political viewpoint doesn't properly match their religion's teaching is the most annoying debate tactic ever.

I guess it is an appeal to authority. But is that really more annoying than any or all of deflection, hyperbole, straw men, ad hominem, red herring, ad naseum, circular logic, etc.?

Dude, my comment was part troll job but part serious. The election just finished but the poitical whining was increased. In those instances it's good policy to take your L and shut up for a bit, lick some wounds, and let those who won enjoy the victory for a bit. You're a former athlete and should understand the concpet. Have you ever wondered why some of the ol' CUF stalwarts never come around anymore? Part of it is because this site has become far more of a politcal echo chamber. There's simply not much room for dissent.

So yes, I'll take my W and joke about it on occasion. I'll also joke about you taking your L. Take a couple of deep breaths and deal with it.

Obama: 3.2 Million
Trump: 1.2 Million in 4.333 years. or 1.2/4.333 = 0.277 M Deportations/year. 0.277 M/year * 8 years = 2.2 Million Deportations at Trumps current rate.

See how Trump will not beat Obamas deportation numbers at the current rate? Hence, his need to speed them up. I always enjoy helping lawyers do math!

I'm fine with Doge and I'm fine with him addressing immigration. However, with both I think he could do a lot better on the bedside manner.

Being "fine with Doge" and immigration are things with which we disagree, fine. However, when PAC asked what made you happy, you gave Trump passing grades for Doge and immigration, but with the need for a tweak in how the message is delivered. I'm puzzled at responses like this. I see what's happening and dread how our norms and values are being dismantled, not to mention how the constitution is being shredded. Conservatives seem fine with this as long as someone wraps the package in fancy gift wrap with a bow instead of a brown paper bag. This is why I can no longer abide conservatism or republicanism. Sure, we democrats may be weird, but we are not obtuse quislings.
