Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Now he's just making shit up, unless he's talking about the three months since Trump became president.
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

There aren't 40 approvals required before a document makes its way to the Secretary?Originally posted by myboynoah View PostNow he's just making shit up, unless he's talking about the three months since Trump became president.

lol, hardly. But given the dolts currently occupying positions of import in the Trump Admin, I would recommend at least 50 approvals.Originally posted by Pelado View Post

Yeah no kidding. Pence, you enabled this lunatic because he helped your star rise. Doesn't count if you criticize him once there is not consequence for you personally.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostWelcome to the resistance, Mike Pence:

Kristi Noem the dog killer thinks Habaeus Corpus means the Constiional right of the president to remove anyone in the country as he pleases. The dumbest and worst we have are in charge
If what MAGA morons believe the president can and should do were true there was zero reason for an American revolution or Contitution.

The things is, this stuff has been warned about for a while. If people listened to actual reported instead of influencers and propagandists, like Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, The Daily Wire, Fox News, Jordan Peterson, Glenn Beck etc., this would be shocking but not surprising.Originally posted by BlueK View PostKristi Noem the dog killer thinks Habaeus Corpus means the Constiional right of the president to remove anyone in the country as he pleases. I think it's important to stop treating those outlets like the Wall Street Journal, WAPO, NYTIMES, even CNN.
They are more responsible for this mess than derelict democrats who didn't reel Biden in or overly woke liberals. Arguably more at fault than some GOPers who fell in line and bent over for king orange.

Even Joe Rogan thinks it's wrong to revoke a student visa over writing an op ed in a school newspaper that the administration didn't like. That happened to someone. This isn't the America we who remember the Cold War grew up in. What Trump wants to do is like what Iron Curtain countries could do to their people. It's the opposite of freedom. I wish more Americans would wake the hell up.Originally posted by frank ryan View Post

It has really become a core tenet of conservatives now that the President has unlimited power that can't be checked by the other two branches for any reason. It's a blatantly unconstitutional position that flies in the face of what the Founders intended. But they pretty much swear by it. Even the conservative sources that have been more intellectual like national review, etc, are all starting to lean like that. Just check out realclearpolitics.com on any random day to see such articles that seem to support the idea. It didn't used to be like that on the right but they're probably also doing it to stay on Trump's good side.

Conservatism as actual political philosophy or genuine political force is all but dead in the US. Replaced by fascistic MAGA. You can call it something else, that's nicer, but it's small government, originalist stuff is gone. Buckley, Reagan, etc all those guys who oppose Trump with the same fury as Bernie and AOC but with different ideological perspectives. Trump is antithetical to conservatism and progressivism because he is a tyrantOriginally posted by BlueK View PostIt has really become a core tenet of conservatives now that the President has unlimited power that can't be checked by the other two branches for any reason. No, it hasn't. And the way you know it hasn't is because there were exactly zero conservatives standing up for Biden's ability to do things.Originally posted by BlueK View PostIt has really become a core tenet of conservatives now that the President has unlimited power that can't be checked by the other two branches for any reason. Conservatives are in favor of power. Power that flows to them and that can be used against their political enemies. That's it.
