Well seems like a huge hole in our defenses! Glad he's going to be able to straighten the armed forces out.

Seems totally unnecessary. Trump said he’d have the conflict resolved in one day after he takes office.

imagine how happy all those GOP representatives and senators that told the world that we wouldn't spend anymore on Ukraine will be when they hear this news.

Well apparently this was from 5 months ago, so his thoughts probably have changed to the Kremlin talking points.

I’m pretty sure he promised that if he was elected he would end it before he even takes office. Or was that Gaza?

25% tariffs on everything from Mexico and Canada on day one. Yeah, that'll be great.

I've learned from CB that Trump's stated intention to impose hefty tariffs is a clever negotiating tactic, suggesting he won't really do that (one hopes the threatened countries don't read CB so they remain unaware it's an empty threat). To bolster the "it's a clever tactic" argument someone on CB said, "Remember, Trump literally wrote The Art of the Deal," which is funny because (a) he literally didn't write it, and (b) the book may be entertaining but it's worthless from a business perspective--remember his Wharton professor said "Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had." Trump's lawyers have threatened Wharton with a lawsuit if it were to release his transcript.

PAC, you are a better man than me. I turned off politics a while back. Occasionally I will turn it back on to see what is going on, but there is a significant population that thinks the election is a complete validation that Trump and they were always 100% right on everything.

So they agree tariffs are a bad thing if implemented. If not then they wouldn't have to argue it's just a grand negotiating tactic that won't actually be implemented.

But I think Trump really means this one.
