What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

It is always kind of strange to think about what you were doing an hour or two ago, at the moment when Michael Jackson was (allegedly) holding a bottle of sleeping pills and contemplating his own mortality. Maybe I was steaming some squash for lunch when Michael was downing a bottle of pills. Maybe I was walking outside to pick up the mail. How would life have been different at that moment if I had known that at the very same time, Michael Jackson was swallowing one pill after another, getting ready to 'go to sleep' and never wake up. Weird. Am I the only one who thinks this kind of stuff?

No. I think those kind of things all the time. Similarly, whenever i begin working on a case, and the facts start listing dates, I begin to wonder what I was doing at the time that such and such an event occurred that ultimately gave rise to the litigation.

I think about this stuff all the time. I've become too aware of my mortality to let go and forget about dying long enough to drop the hammer down and let the indolence go wild and flying through.

I'm wondering if my mom kept those parachute pants I had in the 6th grade.

Gross! Can't we just go back to referring to this as 'changing one's own oil?'

Are they calling it a suicide? I haven't heard a report that his cardiac arrest was brought about because of an overdose. Only that he died.

MSNBC saying he was half a billion dollars in debt. Who kept extending that guy credit?
