The love is inescapable. They did not want this. This is not a product of their behavior. The love was destiny, and everyone knows that you can't escape destiny.

Nail on the head, Babs......a keen observation. They always say crap like,

"We didn't choose this, some things just happen." I wonder if they all read Schopenhauer before they screw.

Hey, Clinton's pre and post presidency escapades didn't seem to stop him. Perhaps it's a badge of honor these days.

That's because Dems revel in their amorality.
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

If the Republicans want to be consistent they need to call for his resignation. If Democrats want to be consistent they need to lay low and say nothing. Not surprisingly, they are each doing exactly the opposite of that.

What are you smoking? What has Obama done that hasn't driven this country further in the poor house?

Oh, and he condemns a new world leader, every week. And they just laugh. That'ss the kind of president American's want? If so, you are right.

Right. You accidentally found yourselves alone together and the pants magically disappeared and everything went blank and next thing you knew you were in media coitus. I'm buying it.

It's because neither is a party of principles..........but merely parties to a huge game they are playing with us. It's winning and losing. And we're the losers in the end.

Only thing the republicans have over democrats in this area is that they haven't killed anyone.

Reminds me of when Bruce Willis' character in "The Last Boy Scout" found his best friend naked in his bedroom closet:

Mike Mathews: Look Joe, it just happened.

Joe Hallenbeck: Sure, sure, it just happened. Could happen to anybody. It was an accident, right? You tripped, fell on the floor and accidently stuck your dick into my wife. "Oops, I'm sorry, Mrs. H, I guess this just isn't my week".
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

                          -Rick Majerus

I prefer BG's suggestion of Repub prowess. Best to quit while you're ahead.

SC Repubs may still do so.

I see the Repubs as at least being a little more consistent in these types of things. Sanford and Ensign are finished as national level Repub politicians. These things do matter to most Repubs.

Dems are a different story, at least when it comes to Dems getting caught in these situations. I recall one of the biggest Dem responses during the Clinton/Lewinsky fiasco was "Nobody cares if they had sex!"

Given the response to Sanford, I guess Dems really only care about Repub sex. It's called penis envy.
