  • A Public Poll: If the Election Were Tomorrow

As of right now, I'm voting for Gary Johnson. I can't vote for Clinton and I can't vote for Trump. I don't like some of Johnson's platform, and some of his ideas don't make sense to me, but, he's not unpalatable.

I'm traditionally Republican. I lean left on social issues. But economic issues are my biggest issues. I'm strongly free trade and generally anything pro-business. I'm not big on Republican borrow and spend policies. I prefer a balanced budget and don't mind raising taxes to get there. But all in all, I align with Republicans, generally. I'm not big on either of these candidates.

As for third party, I believe strongly in the two party system, and I believe third party politics within our current system is a bigger threat to the stability of the system than bad candidates from the two major parties.

As for not voting, I believe in voting, so I'm forced to choose between Trump and Clinton.

In the comparison Hillary vs Trump...I think Hillary's too liberal for my tastes on many issues, but I don't think she'll do anything that would hurt the economy much, probably better than Obama in that regard, and he was fine, except for Obamacare. I wouldn't vote for Trump because of his protectionist rhetoric and generally because he's a dufus. I see neither of them working that well with Congress, which isn't always a bad thing. I'm not that bothered with all the accusations that she's corrupt. We have a system in place that limits corruption for the most part, and they're all most likely a little corrupt or corruptible. I also like that Hillary is female, and it's time we crossed that off as a nation.

        So it's Hillary.

White people do not like to talk about their political affiliations. It's a secret. You ask a white guy who's he votin' for, like, "Hey, Bob, who you gonna vote for?" "Dave! Dave! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Take it easy. So I was fuckin' my wife in her ass, right? And let me tell you, it was something else." "Yeah, yeah, but who are you gonna vote for?" "Dave! Dave, come on with the voting! I'm trying to tell you about fucking my wife in the ass, and you're asking me all these personal questions."

Got to be honest, I'm a little surprised that "I'm a convicted felon and am disenfranchised." hasn't gotten more run so far. Oh well, the poll is young.

I wasn't defending him. Dammit! He's right about something, that doesn't mean I want him running my country.

Its not like I have a CS rep to protect, so I feel like openly supporting Trump isn't really going to hurt me.

I'm surprised that so many people can support HRC, the money for political favors through paid speeches and contributions to the Clinton Foundation is pretty damning stuff.

Popular vote doesn't matter in this country, I will wait for you to announce who wins each CS eligible state and their electoral votes.

Exactly. Count me in the anyone but Trump camp. So it really depends on if I need to vote for Clinton or Johnson (or a very successful write in Mitt movement) in Utah to keep Trump from winning our state.
