When do MotCoJCoLDS get their reparations for the extermination order in Missouri and their eventual expulsion to what was then Mexico? It's the only way to reverse this injustice!Originally posted by Moliere View PostElizabeth Warren ups the ante on handing out money. Gay reparations.
I wonder what's next. Bernie better come up with something good or he'll get even more left behind. Free college, free health care and slavery reparations aren't going to cut it anymore.

Oh my.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostSanders to propose canceling entire $1.6 trillion in U.S. student loan debt, escalating Democratic policy battle
It's a race to see who can promise to give the most stuff away "for free."
Amazing. The Dems are going to pull off two unbelievable miracles with a 4-year times span: electing Donald Trump as POTUS, twice!
Incredible achievement.
If we’re going to randomly pay bills for people let’s repay medical debt rather than student loans.
At least medical bills are usually just due to some combination of bad luck and poverty.
Excessive student loans are from people being stupid, making financially unwise decisions.

Exactly. So let's punish the responsible people who saved, worked during school, used family savings, pursued less expensive options, etc.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostOh my.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Just wait, in a couple months we’ll be there. Then someone will propose paying off credit card debt. Then someone will propose to just hand out cash...oh wait, Yang is already there.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostOh my.

US universities have over $600 billion in endowments. Why don’t we just confiscate all of them and use that money to pay off the student loans?Last edited by Moliere; 06-24-2019, 02:39 PM."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. The New York Times has decided that it wants Elizabeth Warren to be the next president. It's not even pretending to be objective (it dropped that pretense about anything it covers a while ago). The number of fawning articles about Warren is getting shameless. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Pocahontas calls for a two [checks tweet][double checks tweet] cent tax on the wealthiest 75,000 fortunes. That will raise $1,500 per year
? Someone check my math.

Ha ha. Two percent of the fortunes of the mega-wealthy so basically just arbitrary, random stealing/confiscation of money from rich people. This is an actual policy position that would honestly push me a bit to vote for trump over Harris. I supported and still support the tax bill. In fact, the corporate tax reform was one of the best things a president has done in a long time. Repealing it is dumb and careless. I don’t want an antiquated corporate tax code that isn’t competitive with other countries."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. Bernie’s plan is to pay for the cuts through a tax on Wall Street speculation. Hes basically making it more expensive to buy stocks, bonds and enter into derivatives. One interesting fact he’s probably missing is that most companies enter into derivatives to reduce risk, not to create it. Making it more expensive for a company to reduce risk is not a good idea for our economy. Just another data point that Bernie and his followers have very little understanding of economics.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostSanders to propose canceling entire $1.6 trillion in U.S. student loan debt, escalating Democratic policy battle
