Kind of an odd video. Is it intended to motivate people to vote for a candidate will be more forceful in combatting Russian meddling than was Obama? Then why vote for the video's sponsor who at various times has blamed the Democrats, China, a 400 lb. guy sitting on his bed, and "a lot of other people also. There are a lot of people out there [always the wordsmith]." He was gutless in standing up to Putin in Helsinki, and until recently favored Putin's explanation over every U.S. intelligence source and, even now, acknowledges the validity of those sources only begrudgingly. But we can expect him to be strong where Obama was not? A pretty weak case for that...

Well if Ted is impacted by it, we can see it's working on Trump's base.

I didn't know there was Russian election meddling during the 2018 midterms under Drumpf's watch. I had to look this up:

U.S. brings first charge for meddling in 2018 midterm elections

The Justice Department has brought its first criminal case over alleged Russian interference in the 2018 midterm elections.

Elena Khusyaynova, 44, a St. Petersburg, Russia-based accountant, was charged in a criminal complaint with conspiracy to defraud the United States for taking part in a scheme to spend in excess of $10 million since the beginning of the year on targeted social media ads and web postings intended “to sow division and discord in the U.S. political system.”

Khusyaynova, who is not in U.S. custody, allegedly works for Concord, a Russia-based firm that special counsel Robert Mueller's office indicted in February for alleged interference in the 2016 election.

The unsealing of the new charge Friday appears to signal that U.S. law enforcement is not letting up in its efforts to investigate, deter and publicize alleged Russian interference in U.S. politics. The release was coordinated with a statement from President Donald Trump’s top national security leaders warning about the foreign interference efforts from Russia, China and Iran.

Maybe Drumpf should have talked to Putin and told him to knock it off like Obama did.

Gee- you'd think when the incoming president was told there was Russian meddling in the 2016 elections he would at least acknowledge that it happened and then- you know- try to have it not happen again.

This guy is such a badass on Russia that he doesn't even look in their direction when they do something wrong-- just to show them they don't live rent free in THIS syphilitic brain!

As lame as Obama's response was, it was a masterstroke of bold, forceful leadership compared to Trump's flaccidity whenever he's around Putin.

I understand your point but its not like there is some guy in Russia with the job title of "Comrade in Charge of Interfering with US Elections" who flies over here and drops bags of money off at campaign offices. What was trump supposed to do? Investigate everyone who paid for politically related ads on Facebook or instagram or twitter? Background check all twitter accounts to make sure they are not just bots but russian bots?
                PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Well something other than go on TV and say some 400 pound bedridden nerd could have done it when intelligence was very clear on what had been going on. And the irony of now going hard after Obama for 'not doing anything?' At least he admitted it happened and actually imposed sanctions before he left.

He could start by holding a single cabinet meeting on the issue - he reportedly hasn't done that. He could strengthen are ever-important ties with NATO-countries and other democracies instread of damaging them, and work collaboratively on cyber-defense issues. Some of what was cleaned from Russia's antic was a direct result of the cyber-intelligence operations of countries like The Netherlands.

He could stop hand-holding and cuddling with Putin in public, and meeting with him in secret, telling him God knows what. We already know he has divulged at least some intelligence secrets (it pissed the Israelis off).

He could not hold off enacting sanctions (which actually are effective) that he has signed into law, and aggressively seek out more. He could provide more funding to secure out future elections from this garbage. Trump, and the GOP have in the past rejected requests for federal funding to help update our voting infrastructure.

He could challenge Russia's bullying behavior, and tactitly wink at. Trump's only point of divergence with Moscow is Venezuala.

He could accuse and call out Russia for what they did instead of publicly doubting and slandering his own intelligence services.

So since Drumpf is only concerned with the Ruskies messing in our backyard we didn't have to send John Huntsman and two of our carriers to Mediterranean to send a message to Putin? He could have just sent a text message instead?
