    • It will be fun when Bernie has 30% of the delegates at the convention and complains about not having the nomination. I'm sure Trump will be beating that drum for him as well. Some of the right wing media already is and it's not even at S. Carolina yet.

I know. It's like the Dems saw the clown the Repubs invited to their party and decided they wanted a clown at their party as well.
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Clowns? John McKnothead should make a painting about that.

One difference is that the GOP primaries are almost all "winner take all" where on the dem side it's proportional to the end. S. Carolina is interesting, as Biden is still in the lead in the latest polls. Buttigieg and Klobuchar need to drop out if they can't even get ahead of Steyer.

It's true that all Democratic delegates are proportional, but only about 15 states were winner take all in 2016 for the Republicans.

2 of those states were California and Florida.

Unless things change significantly though Sanders is likely to clean up on Super Tuesday and get the momentum he needs for the nomination.

Except, I don't think Hillary was a nutjob or extreme, she was just unlikeable.

If Sanders builds a big enough lead then the proportional split will work in his favor. With his base he probably has a 25% floor at this point. He'll pick up delegates everywhere, even when he loses.

First, thanks for the compliment, and second, I have to practice what I preach to my students. I try and live life free of hypocrisy, or when I identify it in myself, try and correct the behavior. I'm very much a hypocrite, and I hope to rid myself of it before my time on this earth ends. I will fail, but I aim to try.

Props to you. You nailed my argument to the wall and left me with nowhere to wiggle free. I have next week off for Spring Break and I plan to use some of that time to consider better if I can reconcile my two stances, based on the argument I made. I wouldn't be doing that without your question, so I'm grateful to have been properly challenged. Gracias.
