After everything that has happened thus far, how can you possibly state things like this with certainty?"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Politics is fighting the current battle, not the next battle. Right now, the reason Trump has power is because the GOP has capitulated repeatedly to Obama and the Dems. The GOP is shoring up its base with this attack.Originally posted by USUC View PostSo... If it becomes apparent that Hillary is going to beat Trump in the general (which she will), does that change the strategy of the Republicans? Would stonewalling through the rest of Obama's term lead to an even more liberal nominee under Hillary?"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

More specifically, the GOP failure to fight Obama effectively gave rise to Trump. If the GOP had held the line and had challenged him more vigorously and effectively, there would be no Trump candidancyOriginally posted by Applejack View PostObama is responsible for Trump? Point taken. Obviously that is just my opinion. I just think the machine behind Hillary is too big. Hell, you have Republicans vowing to vote for Hillary over Trump. Hillary will hit Trump hard. Something the GOP has thus far refused to do. My guess is they didn't take him seriously and didn't even want to appear to legitimize him.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostAfter everything that has happened thus far, how can you possibly state things like this with certainty?

This article expresses the prevailing sentiment in Nevada on Sandoval. In most regards, he is worse than a Rino. There is widespread dissatisfaction over his betrayal on the tax issue.

If Trump is the nominee - he'll hit Hillary pretty hard too.Originally posted by USUC View PostPoint taken. Obviously that is just my opinion. I just think the machine behind Hillary is too big. In all honesty - those two in a debate have the potential to be pretty entertaining.

Hillary is not a great debater, but she is better than Trump. I can't imagine a GOP voting for Hillary, as there is so much corruption to overlook with her. It boggles my mind a GOP voter would consider her legacy of deceit, corruption and dishonesty because the other guy is a clown. If you argue she has experience. At what? She was a nondescript Senator, with no special accomplishments, and she utterly failed as a Secretary of State. How does that qualify her to be better than Trump? In other words, it sounds as if it disqualifies her because her performance can be at best described as mediocre, being as charitable as one can be. She has repeated questions of integrity, transparency and honesty WHILE in public office.Originally posted by Eddie View PostIf Trump is the nominee - he'll hit Hillary pretty hard too.

Trump is a vulgar nasty man. However, the party which would need to support him, and the bureaucratic machinery in DC, would not allow him to do anything crazy, especially because he doesn't know the ropes there. It stands to reason that if this is mostly or completely an act, once he got down to business, if he worked within the GOP framework, he could be serviceable. We already know Hillary cannot be serviceable and is at best mediocre. I can't understand anybody selecting a Nixonian narcissist, who has failed at her public job, over somebody who would fail but hasn't yet if he doesn't work within the framework. There is a modicum of chance he might become serviceable. With Hillary, there is no chance."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Trump is a vulgar human being. We have ample evidence that Hillary is corrupt. Other than disliking his mode of speech, what evidence do we have that Trump is corrupt?Originally posted by Maximus View PostI trust hillary to work with people a lot more than trump. hillary is corrupt, but trump isnt?
If you are stating Hillary "will work with others", you do not remember the first attempt at assimilating and completely revising the US healthcare system under Bill. If you researched it, Hillary breached public meeting laws by working in secret to devise a plan to redesign the US healthcare system. Don't you remember Hillarycare? She was fined $174,000 by the US District Court. This fine was reversed because she was found to be a public employee for reasons that are strange and known only to the DC Circuit. See Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. v. Hillary Rodham Clinton, 997 F.2d 898 (D.C. Cir. 1993). She is known to be strident and incapable of working with others, and works within the interstices of the law. I can cite no evidence of Hillary working anybody, except to line her pocket book. Please identify evidence of her "working with anybody."
I know a few people who have worked for Trump, not necessarily his best buddies, and much of this bravado, which is completely obnoxious I admit, is bluster. He eventually makes deals. That is what scares me. He might make deals I don't want him to make."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Uh.. he's either an outright liar or he's an idiot. Just going off the things he says publicly and how they contradict other public, easily researchable history of his reveals this.Originally posted by Topper View PostTrump is a vulgar human being. Wrong. If this were true, Ted Cruz would be winning and not Donald Trump. This is what I think as well. If the Tea Party were responsible, Trump wouldn't be the candidate of choice. He would be far behind Cruz, Carson and even Santorum. Don't get me wrong, the Tea Party has become a joke, but this Trumpmania is some other strange element of crazy.Originally posted by I.J. Reilly View PostWrong.
