I was at Sportsman's Warehouse today and saw a guy at the counter looking at a Sig P938. It was what got me thinking about another gun. I like my Glock 26 but as I said in this thread I'm considering carrying more often, and the Glock, though a sub-compact, is still bulkier than I like in many cases for wearing around. So after seeing the P938 I was looking online at a couple smaller handguns and read some good things about the Kahr CM9. Then I happened to see an online classified ad for one, and I just jumped on it. I really like the way it feels in my hand and it is easy to wear.

always way easier to carry a single stack. have you shot it yet? i played around with one and felt like the double action made the trigger heavy.

Back when I carried, I used a shoulder holster for a Glock 23, or an in the pants holster with a Walther PPK. It all depended on how I was dressed and what I was doing. You'd be surprised how easy it is to conceal a shoulder holster.

The 23 was also big enough to carry as my duty weapon at work. Our armorer put a new york trigger with a lighter spring which made the repeated firing very smooth and accurate. My son now has it as he's going through the Academy.

I was never comfortable carrying anything other than a subcompact. I settled on the S&W Bodyguard 380 in an ankle holster and I loved it. Of course my carrying days are over as I couldn't even bring my guns with me to NYC let alone carry.

If a Republican wins the presidency the gun lobby could try and convince Congress to pass an Amendment to the Constitution that expands the 2nd Amendment to clearly be about private gun ownership. They might have the numbers to pull that off with State legislatures and governors.
