I guess that's a risk you take when you commit an illegal act like crossing a nation's border without authorization.
Sad.

If there is any universal justice in a next life you'll be reborn in a dirt poor barrio in Mexico with no opportunities. I wonder what kind of personal risks your ancestors took so that you could be born in America?Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostWhat are two dozen people doing in an SUV?
Same comment about Lingo.
Colly's the one who brutalized a young woman from a foreign country who posted here, attacking her because of her nationality and ethnicity. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

In all seriousness, and not mocking you, Lingo and Colly, if you served a mission, where did you go?"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

I sure hope so. Then I can cross the border to America and live at your house because you are so kind and generous to those less fortunate.Originally posted by SUIf there is any universal justice in a next life you'll be reborn in a dirt poor barrio in Mexico with no opportunities. Again, the sarcasm is on display.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostI guess that's a risk you take when you commit an illegal act like crossing a nation's border without authorization.
Sad.
It's amazing that people with an attitude like this about immigrants consider themselves the true followers of Christ and look down their noses at so many people they consider to be heretical in their beliefs. What Jesus taught about the Pharisees is so applicable to you, Hallelujah, and others like you on a topic like this.
Would Christ have replied with a sarcastic "Sad" over these events? Seriously.

Few things make me smile more than to see people like you get judgmental.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostAgain, the sarcasm is on display.

And why are you so sure I was being sarcastic? These people took a risk and paid for it with their lives. I think that really is sad.

Thank you for pointing this out. The Immigration issue is probably the most complex moral and legal dilemma facing our politicians on both sides of the aisle. To boil it down to a simple question of obeying a border law is fairly insular and largely boneheaded.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostIf there is any universal justice in a next life you'll be reborn in a dirt poor barrio in Mexico with no opportunities. Same comment about Lingo.
What I find most interesting in this is that JohnnyLingo gets upset and cries foul because he was down on his luck peddling crap on the internet to make a few bucks.
Yet he has zero problems showing no compassion to people that lose their lives coming to this country to find work because the are destitute and have no future in their homeland.
Lingo, next time you need some cash, why not go down to the border and sell chiclets for $5 a box. Stop coming here looking for sympathy if you are not prepared to show any to others.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I think you are trolling..but... you know that the accident could have happened to anyone and that it had (according the article) nothing to do with immigration status, right? Not a lot of logic going on and certainly the lack of sympathy is appalling. Which is why I think you are trolling.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostI guess that's a risk you take when you commit an illegal act like crossing a nation's border without authorization.

And you saw nothing in Madagascar that would make you see why people would risk everything to come here? Do you know how lucky or blessed you are to have been dropped in this country? Your comment is really tasteless because you know better, or at least you should.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostMadagascar.

One of the few things that really bothers me about this great nation is the immigration policies. We make it very difficult for people to come into this country legally. I understand there are serious national security concerns, but there has to be a better way for the protection of human life of those immigrating and the residents of the US. This country was made great buy immigration. We've sure moved away from that legacy.A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali
