I am pretty sure frankie has nothing to gain by saying this so this can be accepted as the extremely believable. The Democrats were totally genuine and this was all about Kavanaugh and he has had it with Republicans being hypocritical.

If it is true that BK could drink like a fish at Yale and still graduate top of his class then the dude is superhuman. The only thing that I remember from biology is that the female wants to bred with someone that has good genes. Given that I am guessing that girls were always trying to rape him. I've known quite a few brilliant attorneys who were drunk more often than sober. One of the best appellate guys I knew could only work when he was drunk. He had a great career until his liver stopped working.

How would Kavanaugh be on 1st, 4th and 5th amendment issues?
How would he rule on separation of powers issues? There is talk he'd be very pro-executive branch above the others. Is there a reason to be worried about that (assuming you still believe in having presidents who can be checked by the other branches)?

It goes to his credibility. He asserted he had never had so much alcohol that he blacked out. This seems very unlikely to me based upon what he has himself admitted and based on what other witnesses seem to be saying. If he blacked out as a result of drinking at Yale then he either lied or failed to recall that he could not recall. Both are potentially a problem.

I will give you that. But I'm not sure it is relevant to the ultimate issue of whether he sexually assaulted Dr. Ford. Is there any allegation that he blacked out that night? Ford admitted leaving the house immediately. I don't recall there being any testimony that he passed out that night. He has already admitted he drank in high school. I'm not sure there is proper foundation to pursue an argument that he drank so much that night that he blacked out and now doesn't remember it.

The more I think of BK's performance, the more I think he didn't appear very SCOTUS-worthy with the highly partisan and vitriolic nature of his response. Yeah I get the personal nature of the moment, but yowza.
