So maybe copies do sometimes turn out to be a little different...

Admittedly, I haven't read all the research (and am far from an expert), but my impression is that the twin studies show that there are too many instances where one twin is gay and the other isn't for it to be explained by genetic variation alone.

    • If it is not purely genetic, I would argue if you believe in a preexistence, is it not logical some spirit selfs were gay before coming to the physical realm. It is more to do with who they were as an individual spirit personage rather than the physical nature they inherited. It is as logical as if you believe this as spirits being of a male or female before being born to an earthly life. As a born spirit personage would we not have all have individual characteristics and things that made us unique, just like this life.

          • I have seen this show pop up on my facebook feed a bunch over the last couple of days. It is such a weird dynamic. I can see why it could make for interesting television. Most reality TV is a bit of a freak show and this is no different.

You're not going to see a documentary called "My Husband is not Rich".

They aren't gay. They are afflicted with same sex attraction. Huge diff.

                      • I have no issue with the show. For one, it's reality tv, which means it's nothing close to reality and everyone knows it. Also, it's entertainment and the channel is going for shock value in the title. It happens everywhere.

People complaining about the show seem a little petty. The anti-gays trumpeting the show as a win are delusional.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

My wife could star in that show.

Could she star in the "My Husband is not Gay" show?

Based on the title, yes. Based on her husband's fashion sense, no.
