Too bad Pelosi is running for another term in the house... She has good approval still and would be a great running mate for Joe. And she is only 82 so maybe that would draw some attention away from Biden for being so damn old and senile.

Don't worry, Gavin Newsom is ready to step in if Biden can't go.

WTF California... You don't like republicans and now you don't like President Harris:

Even California thinks Kamala Harris has been a failure

Vice President Kamala Harris has performed so poorly that even her home state thinks she has been terrible.

A poll from the University of California, Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies and the Los Angeles Times puts Harris’s approval in her home state of California at just 35%, with 45% disapproving. Harris has dropped slightly from her already awful 38% approval just two months ago. For comparison, GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has 28% approval in the Democratic-dominated state. Harris is barely more popular than a Republican in California.

What’s more, Harris is floundering in the Bay Area, where she started her political career and served as the district attorney of San Francisco. Harris’s approval in the Bay Area is just 38%, well below House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s 52% approval.

Yes, there has been unprecedented fraud, waste and abuse of the state’s unemployment benefits during COVID. It hardly gets a mention in the local news, and people don’t seem to be too bothered by it (except for those who have been waiting months for their valid benefit claims to be processed).

They are going after the drinking/dancing groups. That is where they are seeing a lot of the spikes. Wont work though.

Newsome is a douche. COVID is spiking hard right now and there should be measures but a curfew does nothing.

I'll go to my unofficial polling place instead.

Somebody had me down as a resident of California currently receiving my mail in Idaho. They couldn't tell me how to get off of the voter rolls.

I could commit voter fraud if I wanted to, but of course, I wouldn't do that. However, this is more evidence for the claims Trump is making about the potential for voter fraud, and it bothers me.

Unofficial ballot drop boxes popping up throughout the state worry elections officials
Promoting such boxes — which have been found in Los Angeles, Orange and Fresno counties — could be a felony.

In a photo posted to social media last week, a young man wearing a mask with Orange County congressional candidate Michelle Steel’s name on it is holding a mail ballot and giving a thumbs up next to a box about the size of a file cabinet labeled “Official ballot drop off box.”

The post, from Jordan Tygh, a regional field director for the California Republican Party, encouraged people to message him for “convenient locations” to drop their own ballots.

The problem is the drop box in the photo is not official – and it could be against the law.

The California Secretary of State has received reports in recent days about possible unauthorized ballot drop boxes in Fresno, Los Angeles and Orange counties, agency spokesman Sam Mahood said Sunday evening. Reports place such boxes at local political party offices, candidate headquarters and churches.
