And my argument isn't about the democrats. You are most likely correct about any future democratic president; they will tend to support increasing taxes. So what? My beef is with people who support the ostensible republican who has publicly supported traditional democratic policies more than republican ones. I keep repeating myself and you keep responding the same way, but I'll say it again, there is no good evidence that Trump will govern the way most of his supporters think he will. And that includes those who will hold their nose and vote for him, expecting something better than Clinton.

You're right. But it isn't a ringing endorsement. It's a rebuke to those who expect Trump to govern as a republican. I think it's a safe bet that Clinton will also govern as a centrist democrat, despite her left tilt in the election. But I also expect her to not embarrass herself and the country at regular intervals. So she has my support until republicans quit supporting national embarrassments.
You're asking a hypothetical question, one that will not happen.

My logic is as follows. A Democratic will increase taxes. That is the first solution any national Democrat offers to solve fiscal problems. It will happen. And the pain of increased taxation always trickles downhill.

Do I have a lot of trust in Trump? No. There is 0% chance Hillary, or any Democratic President, will reduce taxes. Zero. There is a chance greater than Zero Percent Trump will reduce taxes. That is not stating a high level of confidence that it will happen, but given that it is higher than zero, it is better than Hillary.

Again, I believe Trump would be a poor president, but I believe the bureaucracy of government would stop him from doing crazy stuff because he doesn't understand government. He would be a Jimmy Carter, incompetent in all major aspects.

Hillary knows government, knows how to grease the wheels, and is wrong on all major policy issues. Thus, she will be more effective at causing harm by pursuing bad, harmful policies.

Here is the crazy thing. Because our economy is larger than government, because society is marching on in spite of government, our society may still thrive in spite of either bozo being in office. I am not a doom and gloomer in terms of these matters, but Hillary will implement policies that will make life harder for small businesses, that will enrich unions and large, transnational businesses and her own family's pocket book. Apparently, everybody voting for her is okay with that. I am not.

As would I. I would vote for Pence or Kain over Hillary or Trump.

Look, Topper has made his point. He's voting for Trump because he would be more overwhelmed by the job than Hillary. Perfectly logical.

Ryan gets nothing done. He looks good in a suit, but that is not enough. He has buckled under to Obama on the budget items.

So Applejack is voting for Trump?! We've outed you. That's the day Topper will vote for Trump.

Well, I mean, his proclivity for working out is well-documented. I'm sure he appreciates you noticing, though.

That you are aware of this is a bit disturbing.

It is disturbing to him when others keep up on major current events like the presidential race. His posts make a little more sense in that light.

                            • Between the day after the debate and now, Florida, Ohio, Nevada and North Carolina have gone from leaning Trump over to leaning Hillary. Iowa is also about to go that direction. Colorado and New Hampshire went from being narrowly for Hillary into an 80% chance Hillary will win it.

Thank you to all the toothless hillbillies for nominating a manifestly unsuitable candidate for President and handing the election over to someone who is only marginally less unsuitable for the office.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

so you agree with Clinton's basket of deplorables comment?
