I'm gonna say that it is deplorable that either of these two candidates represent their respective parties. And that those who voted to put them there are deplorable.Originally posted by creekster View Postso you agree with Clinton's basket of deplorables comment?
Of course, I'm also willing to say that they are not deplorable to the same degree that muslim terrorists are deplorable. Which, from what I understand, is why Hillary is catching flack.
It is interesting that her deplorable comment got less run than Romney's 47% comment. But that's another election.
Hillary is proving to have some of Bill's teflon by proxy. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the person everyone is comparing her to is Trump.

That's deplorable.Originally posted by creekster View PostI do not agree with what she said."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

I did not read GQ or Playboy for their insights. Those comments didn't make it into the Economist or the WSJ that I remember.Originally posted by falafel View Post

Me too. I actually really like Pence. Kain is not as likeable, but much more palatable than either presidential candidate.Originally posted by Topper View PostAs would I. I would vote for Pence or Kain over Hillary or Trump.sigpic

If you say so. I did not follow Ryan at all. Did he say he ran a sub three hour marathon, or what? Ryan is a doofus and has proven to be a weak Speaker. That is my criticism of him. The GOP leadership is weak and short-sighted. The Dems are crooks and worthless.Originally posted by bluegoose View PostSure they did. They were everywhere. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
