I'm starting to think it would be a really good thing for the country if Trump loses then takes Bannon and his other buddies and forms a new political party. Some pundits have suggested that's possibly in Trump's plans, but who knows. I think we should have 3 for a while. They could take all the crazies with them out of the GOP. A three way choice for your representative to Congress would not be a bad thing. The sad reality is that so many voters are disillusioned because they basically live within a one-party district and feel like their rep never has to listen to them to get reelected for the next 30 years.

If the republicans are the Trump version of the party, I don't give a crap if the GOP starts to lose because it's another version of the democrats to me. Other than the anti-immigrant stuff, what's the real difference between the dems and Trumpism? On the economic front, I'm not seeing any difference. Both want to borrow and spend the country into oblivion. Trump may even be worse about that given the way he ran his companies. Trump would gladly extend government favors to his own voters if he thought it would help him win.

Trump's 'immigration' speech. At one point he somehow rounded up and paraded about 10 parents of kids who were killed by "illegal aliens." Each of them said that if Trump was President maybe their kids would be alive. This is unbelievably farcical, considering you are about twice as likely to be a criminal if you are a U.S. citizen.

Well, it's an almost certainty that if the illegal alien hadn't been in the country, their child would be alive. The "stat" you cite is irrelevant to their situation: it's not like their deaths were foreordained and a U.S. citizen would have been compelled to do the job. The question is whether Trump (or any president and congress) had been in office and been serious about securing the border, enforcing immigration laws, and ending illegal immigration, would we have enough of a handle on the situation that these illegals wouldn't be here? I tend to think yes, the situation could be vastly improved and many of their children would be alive in this hypothetical situation.

Hillary Clinton suggested to FBI investigators in a July interview that she had little understanding of classified information when she served as secretary of state.

Clinton told FBI agents she could not remember ever receiving any training for how to preserve federal records or treat classified material.

"Clinton could not give an example of how classification of a document was determined," the FBI wrote in its notes.

"Clinton did not recall receiving any emails she thought should not be on an unclassified system," the FBI wrote.

Best case scenario is that she is just incredibly stupid.

Hillary Clinton told FBI agents in July that she thought the classified "C" markings on emails recovered from her private emails were just a way to put paragraphs in alphabetical order.

FBI Director James Comey had said his agents pulled three emails marked classified off her server system in the course of their year-long investigation.

"When asked what the parenthetical 'C' meant before a paragraph ... Clinton stated she did not know and could only speculate it was referencing paragraphs marked in alphabetical order," the FBI wrote in notes from its interview with her.

The FBI released an 11-page summary of the interview alongside 58 pages of notes from the investigation.

But we all know it is far worse than her just being incredibly stupid.

FBI agents said they recovered 17,448 "unique work-related and personal" emails from Hillary Clinton's private server that were not provided by her legal team.

And what is even worse is that she says shit like this and for some bizarre reason, nobody even cares. Perhaps we are so desensitized by the Clintons' behavior that BS like this, which is terrible in terms of being even half way believable, isn't really that big a deal.
