    • Hmmmm, I wondered if Paul Ryan was even going to say Trump's name.

          I read it too.
          Nice memory, wuap.

Aided by nannies, Don’s mother, Ivana, took the lead on day-to-day child-rearing; his father would see him off to private school each morning with a hug and a lecture consisting of “ ‘No smoking, no drinking, no drugs,’ ” he recalled, “usually followed with ‘Don’t trust anyone.’ ” Donald wasn’t the type of dad to take his kids out to the backyard—“or, in our case, the roof of the building”—to throw a ball around. “He made time for us,” Don said, “but it was always on his terms.” That often meant Don accompanying his father to construction sites, or playing with toys at the foot of Donald’s desk while he negotiated a deal.

As a boy, Don spent more than a month every summer with his maternal grandfather, who was an electrician in Zlín, a Moravian industrial town several hours east of Prague. He perfected his Czech and also spent many hours alone in the woods, an experience he credits with teaching him the virtues of both the outdoors and a modest life. “When you got back from that, you appreciated what you had,” he said, “but you also appreciated that people who don’t have a lot still have the most important things: relationships, time around the campfire.”
"More crazy people to Provo go than to any other town in the state."

              • Question for those GOPers who have deserted the party and intend to vote for Ms. Satan. Write in Mitt or Vote Gary Johnson. But that's besides the point.

Do you intend to do anything to damage her to restrain her ability to govern?

Are you concerned about her ability to change the entire direction of the Supreme Court?

I do like Creekster's outlook on that. Do you intend to continue to vote GOP in the House and Senate?
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

                      1) I guess I might write a strongly worded letter to the editor. But other than that, meh.

                      2) No. This is your worst argument for voting for Trump, by the way. We already know how he feels about issues such as eminent domain and first amendment rights. I am more concerned about the type of judges he would nominate than Clinton's.

Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

I am not advocating voting for Trump. I am advocating voting Third Party and then damaging her so badly she can't govern. I want her figuratively DOA, where the next scandal is in hand and a special prosecutor is appointed so we can start impeachment proceedings.

You keep saying that. But if the level of your rhetoric resembled anything close to the truth, you would be the most pro-Trump person on CS. So c'mon, it's ok to admit it. Much less strident people than you are tepidly pro-Trump. It's ok, especially since a vote for Trump does more than a third party vote to keep Satan incarnate out of office.

I loathe Trump for damaging the GOP, so unlike Democrats who will vote for any scumbag their fucking party dishes up, I will not debase myself by voting for that maggot. Remind you, I worked opposite side of him in a case, and you couldn't pay me to vote for that asswipe.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
