That's an incredible plan. I'm pissed that I didn't think of it first.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

            • I'm anti-Trump enough to say that I'll vote for Hillary if it looks like my vote will matter. I'll probably vote for my registered party--Libertarian.

              • Trump is now saying the US might not defend Baltic states against a Russian invasion. Electing this fucker could single-handedly wreck NATO. That's reason enough for me to vote for Hillary.

People, if enough of you write in Mitt, then Mitt will be our president.

Yeah, that was a shocking statement. Even by Trump standards.

Really? Isn't this the guy that said that he would order the military to bomb the families of terrorists? And all those comments on trade (not that sexy) are similarly shocking.

Shocking? There's no shocking anymore. It's numbing.

                          • The republican party is still very much the party of cowards and fools:

In A Party Full Of Cowards, Cruz Stood Apart

If 2016 is a disaster, Cruz will be the only major Republican to emerge from the Trump fiasco with his principles intact.

Say what you will about Ted Cruz’s politics or personality, but it takes a special kind of badassery to stand up at a convention — in front of millions of viewers — and unfurl a comprehensive attack on the party’s nominee. It’s also unprecedented. Last night, Cruz gave a commanding and inclusive speech about conservative values. It was so good that the crowd forgot to boo until he was more than halfway finished.

“Stand and speak and vote your conscience. Vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom.”

“Freedom matters, and I was part of something beautiful.”

All these words were broadsides against Donald Trump’s candidacy. By the end, the crowd tried to drown him out with boos and pro-Trump chants. Cruz’s wife had to be escorted out of the convention center because a mob of Trump fans was threatening her. A man in a donor suite had to be restrained when Cruz walked by. They don’t want something beautiful at the RNC, they want something angry.

And the biggest fool of the republican party has this to say about Cruz:

Exclusive — Sarah Palin to Ted Cruz: Delete Your Career

In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, former Alaska Governor and 2008 Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin weighed in on Senator Ted Cruz’s refusal to honor his pledge and endorse the GOP nominee Donald Trump.

                              • I guess police should be using water canons to deal with protesters.

"You're on fire! You're on fire, stupid," an officer could be heard yelling when the man who tried to start the blaze had his leg briefly catch fire. He was then arrested for assaulting an officer, Williams said during an evening news conference, after trying to bat away police seeking to douse the flames.
