I think Sanders did better with the youngsters actually... free college tuition! (which may eat all your social security and then some).

Was that in the poll that had a sample size of about 80?

Yeah, Goatnapper is going to be disappointed with the Gem State. Looks like Cruz will get the majority of Idaho's delegates. Trump did win in the skinhead counties to the North but there is not enough votes up there to make enough of difference. Idaho has a delegate threshold of 20% so Rubio may not get anything tonight unless HI feels sorry for him.

Drumpf will most likely push for legalized gambling nationwide so he can expand his casinos. Old folks love playing the slot machines so maybe he is your man.

                • The primary polls have been horrific. Every poll of Michigan had Hillary beating Sanders by 20 points. They're also overstating Trump's support in closed primaries.

                  Lol at Kasich and Rubio.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                      Florida is a closed primary.

Closed. Rubio looks like a loser right now, he won't win.

Dan Jones did a poll in Idaho that was released yesterday and it had Trump beating Cruz by 12 points with Cruz getting 19 points. Cruz is getting 43% and beating Trump by 16 points.

Trump was supposed to in by 20 points in Louisiana and Kentucky and won by 5 points. Mississippi was an open primary and Trump's margin was bigger as a result. Cruz is going to start racking up delegates in closed, winner take all primaries.

Yeah, I think a lot of Dems thought, given the polls, that Hillary had MI so they jumped parties and voted for Drumpf or some other pub...

                            • If the Dems had the same nominating structure as the Republicans, Bernie Sanders would have a pretty good shot at the nomination. Superdelegates really rig the game. I wonder what the raw vote total is between the two in all the contests.

I don't think that can entirely explain the inaccuracy of the polls in Michigan. There can't possibly be enough Demcrats that don't have anything better to do who would have normally voted for Hillary, but instead wanted to monkey with the Republican primary. We're talking about a 20 point discrepancy. I think they're unexcited about Hillary while some voters are excited about Bernie Sanders.

As for the Republican side, there is a certain faction of white blue collar democrats/independents who find Trump appealing. They're the ones who are giving Trump his margin of victory in the open primary states.
