  • It's personal. Don't ask her as she doesn't like discussing her religious beliefs. She is very private about all that.

    • The guy who set up Hillary's private email server will plead the 5th in response to a Congressional subpoena. What would be the best non-guilty explanation for pleading the 5th? Is it time yet to draft Biden?

Didn't Lois Learner plead the 5th and nothing ever happened to her. I would be very surprised if President Obama's justice department ever did anything about this.

The last time we hired a President, one of the candidates came for a campus interview that lasted 3 or 4 days. One of the meetings was with all department and committee chairs, and we went around and asked him questions about his academic background. MBA, PhD in Accounting or something like that, undergrad was political science. The business chair asked him, as an academic, what his favorite book was and he said, "The Bible." It takes serious balls to tell a room full of secular academics that your favorite book is the Bible. There were many a quickly-exchanged glances after that with a general non-verbal WTF feeling permeating the room. Someone asked him "why" and his response left little doubt that he was a suit and not a professor.

I was pleased that he said Bible, at first, hoping that he'd acquit himself by explaining how it had contributed to his formation as a professor, how he used it in his teaching, how it governed his life, something like that. No, it was something like, "I like the stories."

It remains the only time, outside of BYU, when I've sensed hostility toward religious expression in a meeting I've attended.
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

              • Trump says flag burning should be illegal.

He's just trolling the Republican base now, right?

Time with Hillary out campaigning and dinner. I have a Dentist appointment that day. Tough choice. I guess it is really important I get my teeth cleaned so I guess I won't be entering the contest.

If I won a dinner with Mrs. Clinton I would be expecting more than a lousy brown-bag meal. An all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet would be more like it.

                          • His candidacy will focus on privacy rights

Anti-virus software tycoon John McAfee plans to run for President, the developer confirmed on Tuesday. He will run under his own newly created “Cyber Party.”
                            [...]
We are losing privacy at an alarming rate — we have none left. We’ve given up so much for the illusion of security and our government is simply dysfunctional,” he said, adding that he plans to release an explainer for his new Cyber Party.

“I have a huge underground following on the web,” he said. “I promise you I will win because I have the votes.”

And he may have the voting machines pwned.

I am guessing he wants to sit in the captain's chair at the Information Dominance Center...

It has a red arrow pointing from left to right. Is she showing hard core leftists her plan once she takes office?
