I am glad I can watch CNN, MSNBC and read on this board how things went. Trump got clobbered by Hillary When Romney clobbered Pres. Obama, he got a 4 pt jump in the polls. It will be interesting to see the pop Hillary gets.lol. Gotta love these little passive aggressive digs. Poor Trump, fighting a big liberal conspiracy.Originally posted by byu71 View PostBased on what I am hearing on this board and what I heard on CNN and MSNBC I am expecting Clinton to get a bump. Mainly because Trump voters won't change, Independents maybe a little and I suspect a larger number of democrats who may have been on the fence are with her now.

I'm watching a rerun of the debate (didn't get to see the first 70 minutes). Man, The Dump just blathers on and on.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah, what is the deal with Trump dangling "cyber" and "nuclear" out there without completing the thought? He did it numerous time last night.Originally posted by Walter Sobchak View Post

I will say that some of Lester Holt's actions last night were a bit baffling. He asked 6 follow ups to Trump and not a single one to Clinton. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/in...rticle/2602939Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Postlol. After one of Trump's early lines caused an applause, he reminded the audience that it was to remain silent, yet Clinton delivered several lines that drew laughter or applause and the same directive never came.
Lastly, at least three questions were questions that directly put Trump on the defensive (related to tax returns, birther comments, and comments about women) yet no similar type questions were asked of Clinton.

those are easily answerable questions for a competent candidate.Originally posted by imanihonjin View PostI will say that some of Lester Holt's actions last night were a bit baffling. A random thought... Drumpf keeps railing on Hillary for her failures in foreign and domestic policy over the past "30 years" or "her entire adult life." Given that the first half of those 30 years Hillary was the First Lady of either Arkansas or the U.S., I'm curious what foreign and domestic policies Melania will be responsible for if he's elected.

Yeah, that was pretty much a disaster for The Dump, which means he's right where he wants to be (if the past is any indicator of the future).Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostI watched about 5-10 minutes. Trump's handlers probably told him to try to act semi-congenial and that lasted for around 5 minutes, then he went full Trump. He was categorically awful.
Hillary looked surprisingly healthy and of course she was prepared. I know it has been said a couple dozen times already and Trump somehow keeps coming back, but last night probably sealed the deal in favor of Hillary.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

I don't know if it's been mentioned in the thread, but I've read a few places that Donald can take criticism in a lot of areas, but not when it comes to any implication that he is not as wealthy as he claims. I noticed Hillary hit that as one of the three things he might be hiding, and Donald took the bait.Originally posted by imanihonjin View PostI felt the same. I thought he delivered a nice zinger about releasing his tax returns when she released her 33,000 emails. She went on a diatribe about her thoughts as to why he wouldn't want to release these things and what he must be hiding. In my mind I was thinking "she is digging herself in a whole because everything she is saying is equally, if not more, applicable to her missing emails, and then in his rebuttal he completely focused on defending what may or may not be in his tax returns (he spent a stupid amount of time on whether or not he was over leveraged) instead of redirecting the focus on her emails, which was the whole point of the zinger to begin with.
His main goal should have been to make her squirm, and he was terrible at it last night.
If I were Hillary, as soon as any subject gets uncomfortable, I'd segue to his personal net worth. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
