Yeah, I don't get it. JL highfived me once in response to Write in Mitt!!! Now it's all sour grapes.Originally posted by YOhio View Post

I'm just going to stay positive. Too much negativity in this campaign already.
Write in Mitt!!!Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Funny how making good choices makes a person feel better. Now I generally agree that it won't do a thing to stop either of those candidates this election, except in the sense that I'm depriving Crooked Hillary and Dumpy Donald of a vote they haven't earned. But I don't really care a whole lot about stopping them. They're equally horrific and this cycle is a lost cause. Evil won this battle but goodness can still win the war, so I'm much more concerned now about future elections. I'm sending a message to future leadership of both parties that giving voters a choice like this is unacceptable. I'm going to do what's right and let the consequence follow.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostIt won't do a thing to stop either of these candidates, but it will make you feel better!

YES, THIS! I'm going to vote for someone, not against someone. We've come to a crazy state of affairs where people are afraid and voting against The Dump or Hitlery. I'm not joining them. If enough people refuse to vote for either of those jokers and in turn vote for someone they respect and believe can lead this country in a way it should go, then a message can be sent.Originally posted by YOhio View PostFunny how making good choices makes a person feel better. Donald Trump bounces into the lead
Did Dems choose the wrong horse? Starting to look like it. They get this week to gain back ground.Last edited by myboynoah; 07-25-2016, 04:16 AM.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

Great article.
http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/20...-trump-ralliesSo the couple’s assertion was true but not complexly true. It was a nice hammer with which to pop the enemy; i.e., me. Its intent: discredit Obama and the liberal mind-set. What was my intent as I Googled? Get a hammer of my own, discredit Bush and the conservative mind-set.
Meanwhile, there sat reality: huge, ambiguous, too complicated to be usefully assessed by our prevailing mutual ambition—to fight and win, via delivery of the partisan zinger.
LeftLand and RightLand are housemates who are no longer on speaking terms. And then the house is set on fire. By Donald Trump. Good people from both subnations gape at one another through the smoke.

On one hand, I think Donald Trump could/should get trounced because he's awful, hasn't raised any real money and has no campaign operation to speak of.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostDonald Trump bounces into the lead

That said, I think Hillary Clinton could/should get trounced because she's awful, is corrupt and her team of operatives thinks they can buy the presidency.

To that point, Trump has also done (or not done) numerous things that should disqualify him from pubic service. Things like profiting from scam universities and seminars, not releasing tax returns, and hiring UU grads to write your books and wife's speeches. These are all disqualifying, IMO.Originally posted by TexTechCoug View PostTrump has said numerous things that should disqualify him from public service.
Clinton has done many things while a public servant that should disqualify her from future public service.
