It is kind of a rule of thumb to record interviews with politicians because they will almost always say they were misquoted when an article doesn't suit them.

True enough, but context is the problem.

I wonder if just Tagg lives in this fantasy world or if any of the other Romneys live there with him on this point.
So Mitt didn't want to run? If true, that's very disappointing. I guess it showed. Look, he would've made a great president, but you gotta want it and do what it takes to win. Although Obama hates the actual job part of being president, he wanted to win the election. Badly.

Remember when Romney said Chrysler was going to produce Jeeps in China for the US market and he got raked over the coals for those comments and ad?

Romney would have been such a good president. I am convinced of that.

According to the ad, the Jeeps made in China will be sold in China. Not in the U.S. According to the Chrysler CEO, they couldn't sell American-made Jeeps in China because the production basis is too high.

Right, Romney got raked over the coals for saying in his ad that production would be shifted to China and then in a public appearance that all production would be moved to China. GM refuted that by saying, yes we are considering adding production sites in China to sell more Jeeps in the Chinese market, but that is not at the expense of any American jobs nor is it a shift of any current production.

The Romney campaign tried to run with a truth that really wasn't all the truth. The press nailed their butts on it. That is what a press is supposed to do. Not let politicians get away with slogans that don't tell the whole story and therefor misleading.

Let's see. Obama, we are going after millionaires and billionaires. I like how the media over and over again corrected him and let folks know it is actually people who make a lot less than $1,000,000 he is also going after. What, they didn't clarify that. I am shocked.

I would like to see Romney take over USA Rugby which is a failure and run poorly.

IMHO Romney would have been a great President.

No, he needs something bigger and more scandalous. I vote the UCI.
