    Wrong thread.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I bet the BOT has ways of making that happen. He isn't exactly an academic though neither was Bateman.

I've never met him, but I have two close friends who are, in turn, very close to him, having worked with him for years. They echo your sentiments.

Here's all the proof I need (undoctored, I'm certain):

“He wanted to be president less than anyone I’ve met in my life," Tagg Romney told the paper. "He had no desire to ... run. If he could have found someone else to take his place ... he would have been ecstatic to step aside.
"He is a very private person who loves his family deeply and wants to be with them," Tagg continued. "He has deep faith in God and he loves his country, but he doesn’t love the attention.”

I wonder if just Tagg lives in this fantasy world or if any of the other Romneys live there with him on this point.

The Romney's are terrible at politics with the exception of maybe Ann. Oh, maybe I just mean Mitt and Tagg are terrible. They think you can go out there and say something that is true and you won't get the crap beat out of you for saying it.

I often thought to myself, why the heck would someone who has everything going for him like Romney does, ever want to be President?

You think what Tagg said is true? Mitt started running for president around 2002. That is an odd thing to do if you are not wanting to be president.

The Romneys' problem isn't that they say things that are true. It is that they try to anticipate what people want them to say and say that, only to learn they aren't very good at it.

Or maybe he was just misquoted.

I am pretty sure Tagg was talking about this last time around. There is also a difference between wanting something and wanting it so badly you put together the best team of liars, manipulaters and then go out and promise things that are impossible to deliver in order to win.

For my vision of what will continue to keep America great Romney was far and away the most competent candidate out there. I will give you this, as a politician or as someone to support your vision of what America should be like, he SUCKED.

I think you're being too hard on all of them.

As I was driving up to see the lights at the DC Temple yesterday I passed a vehicle with the license plate DENY GOP. It had a big 2012 sticker with the 0 being the Obama logo. The first thing I thought of was CaliCoug.

It's not an odd thing to do if you think you can make a difference, whether you really want the job or not. I can't imagine why anybody, especially a guy as successful as Romney, would want that job.

Mitt would have been a great president. I don't really care what his son.
