Watching Fox News. They are still talking about how the popular vote will be really close and that hurts Obama. I don't think anyone has told them how many ballots are mailed in from California and Oregon and that they won't be tallied for days. Maybe Dick Morris is still giving them info. He has extra time now that he isn't typing on his site.

Yep, anyone who doesn't think Obama got a resounding mandate are kidding themselves. I hope the press will finally get rid of their bias and support him and his upcoming agenda. The people have spoken and resoundingly they want him to move his agenda forward.Originally posted by calicoug View PostWatching Fox News. "When the president was elected on '08 I said that he was elected president but he is not my president. I still stand by that. I have said good things when he had done good things. And that wasn't often. So, for all of you who voted for a drug user, hater of America and what your ancestry fought for & the freedoms you enjoy, who let your fellow citizenry be murdered; as you watch in disbelief your rights and freedoms deteriorate and go the way of the damned, I will not console you. I will not offer condolence. I will simply look at you, smile and say lick your own wounds, you smug & ignorant fool."

No, I'm not at "resounding mandate." I'm more at "this wasn't as close as conservatives want to believe."Originally posted by byu71 View PostYep, anyone who doesn't think Obama got a resounding mandate are kidding themselves. Republicans had all the cards stacked in their favor. Then they decided to run for the votes of angry white males at the exclusion of everyone else. They got what they sought.

I think your analysis is too symplistic. Since angry white males are a minority, according to liberal standards for calling people names, you just made a racist statement.Originally posted by calicoug View PostNo, I'm not at "resounding mandate." 53% of folks in the exit poll blame the poor economy on Bush. The Obama campaign did a successful job of deamonizing a rich white guy and a former President.
Lastly an incumbent President with the power of the media solidly behind him is very hard to beat.

Hey, I'm a registered Libertarian and voted Johnson for POTUS, I can't lie though I'd rather have Obama than Romney.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostTotally agree. I voted for Romney but the Republican Party is dead. Screw all of these social conservatives. I am done with this group and I am now an independent. Maybe even libertarian. I am with you Uncle Ted.
It's ironic that the Tea Party who swept the GOP into control of congress also shares blame in helping Obama get elected.

Way too many to post them all here. I went to bed early so I'm catching up on the FB feed. Here's a couple:
I do not understand why people can vote for someone who lies on camera to us!!! A President who let Americans die!!! Well hold on America this is going to be a fun ride.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooLook at the bright side: it's one step closer to the Second ComingI'm distraught about the election. I can't believe we have to go through 4 more years of Governor Herbert.^^This ones from a CanadianThink I'll cry myself to sleep tonight as I contemplate the next 4 years...I wonder if there will be a job for me after I graduate from College.
Mosiah 29:26-27. 'Nuff said...Sign of the times.....I feel sick right now. We elected this idiot based on ZERO accomplishments...and we REELECTED him based on ZERO accomplishments. Pathetic!^^This one was at about 11pmish CSTHold on folks. Ohio isn't finished yet. Watching the Blaze. Romney has not conceded! Keep praying!
Does anyone else want to vomit tonight??? Seriously?!?!How many sleeping pills does it take to never wake up?Just heard the news about Obama winning....what a sad day for America. When Obama finally finishes off America, I don't want to hear ONE single Obama voter complain about the economy, health care, jobs, etc.Congratulations Obama, Mein Führer. FIFY.Originally posted by SoonerCoug View PostAre you kidding? It ballooned further and faster than ever under Obama and a democrat controlled congress, but you can hardly claim that democrats are devoid of fiscal responsibility--especially when compared to republicans.

I'm not a libertarian. I thought about this and I'm switching parties entirely. I hate being associated with calicoug and Tim politically (I mean this - you two are the worst ambassadors for your - no, our - party that I know) but the only thing that has kept me tied to the Republicans is heritage and fiscal policy. The former is a piss-poor reason, the latter went out the window with Bush (who I still maintain is the worst president of my lifetime, excepting only Carter who doesn't count because I was just a kid).Originally posted by Flystripper View PostTotally agree. Bush Jr. was pretty bad but Obama is worse in a lot of ways, IMO. Just all the liberal newspapers endorsing Rmoney should say something.

Let me know how the fellatio with big labor goes. I've considered becoming a democrat but ill never pull the trigger until they throw the UAW to the wayside. I also don't like their constant desire to control everything through regulation, even down to how much money people can make.Originally posted by nikuman View PostI'm not a libertarian. Ted, you're nothing more than the cranky muppets who sit up in the balcony and toss out negative bullshit, except without the humor. Call me back when the pathetic ideological movement you call a party has any sort of a meaningful voice. I most closely align with them and have for many years, but they are irrelevant, and I have no interest in helping them languish in obscurity.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostLOL.
