LA Ute was free to exercise his right and he did so. What is the issue?
No issue; I was just hoping that you would enlighten us as you had suggested you could in your lecture to MBN yesterday. People exercise their right to free speech and consequences follow, even if they are being insensitive or bigoted. Seems pretty easy to me. But I was hoping for some help from you. Of course, like I said, I withdraw the snark, but you can continue if you prefer. After all, you have free speech rights too.

And LA, I agree that Chick-Fil-A seems like a great company and I said I have no problem eating there. I just object to the mass demonstration with its thinly veiled anti-gay undertones.

Now that the demonstrations are over, I'm going to eat there significantly more than in the past.

Thank you. We did order our last meal there today.
One of the things I do love about CFA is their culture of politeness. "My pleasure" has even trickled over to our Taco Bell. However, for me, that isn't enough of a reason to want to return and I am fine with that and I am fine with what others choose to do.
Hey, call me crazy but I trust the gay people who say it feels like hate to them. I don't trust the straight people with awesome spouses and a bunch of awesome kids who say their spouse and family are the most important thing in their life, but why on earth are gay people so worked up over this? -- we just support the "traditional (Biblical) definition" of marriage: One that EXCLUDES YOU!
The notion is beginning to form in my mind that perhaps neither you nor I will convince the other to change his mind on this issue....

Seems like we agree. These events are not an issue of Free Speech. They are an issue of the consequences that follow the exercise of free speech.
